Kou Shirahama
As you pass through the pine forest in front of Hotel Shunka, you will immediately find Kokufu Shirahama. The beach is approximately 3km long and has a shallow, gently curving coast, with a wide stretch of sandy beach. It is famous as one of the leading surf spots in the Kinki and Chubu regions, and is visited by many surfers throughout the year.
Ise Jingu
The shinto shrine that the Japanese adore as “Soul of Japan”. The Inner Shrine is believed to have been established over 2000 years ago.
Okage Yokochou
It’s close to Ise-Jingu. A sightseeing spot that reproduced the atmosphere of the Edo period. You can enjoy local food as well.
Yokoyama Observatory
A perfect spot at an altitude of 140 meters that offers a panoramic view of the 60 small islands floating in Ago Bay. You can enjoy one of the most spectacular views of the ria coastline in Japan. This observation deck is also perfect for hiking and trekking.
Toba Aquarium
You can see rare sea animals like dugongs and Neophocaena phocaenoides.
Mikimoto Pearl Island
Shima city was succeeded in culturing pearls for the first time in the world. Visitors can enjoy watching the Ama’s (Woman’s diver) demonstration so closely.
Iseshima Skyline
A driving road with a length of 16.3 km traversing Asamayama from in front of the Ise Jingu Naiku to Toba. You can enjoy a magnificent view of Iseshima and Ise Bay.
